JOIN THE SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY

 

Fashions Forward reintroduces sustainable fashions into the circular economy. Donated items are resold through second-hand retailers, with all proceeds supporting girls’ secondary education in climate-vulnerable, under-resourced countries. Items remaining unsold are redistributed at free community “shopping events,” where neighbors in need can choose what they love, preserving choice and agency. 

 

Fashion production contributes 10% of the carbon emissions that are heating our planet, and uses a vast amount of water. For example, making just one t-shirt requires 2700 liters of water.  So it's imperative that we reuse.. Recycling reduces microplastic waste that clogs our oceans. And vintage fashions are cool.
